Gameplay Style
Janna is primarily played as a enchanter/mage/support, leveraging their ranged combat style to dominate in the support. Since their release in Patch 0.9.22.16, players have come up with a bunch of different strategies and builds to maximize Janna's potential.
As a magical-focused champion who uses Mana to cast their abilities, Janna requires players to carefully manage their resources while positioning effectively to deal maximum damage. The champion's design makes them particularly effective against grouped enemies with AoE abilities and burst damage.
Janna's Story
Armed with the power of Runeterra's gales, Janna is a mysterious, elemental wind spirit who protects the dispossessed of Zaun. Some believe she was brought into existence by the pleas of Runeterra's sailors who prayed for fair winds as they navigated treacherous waters and braved rough tempests. Her favor and protection has since been called into the depths of Zaun, where Janna has become a beacon of hope to those in need. No one knows where or when she will appear, but more often than not, she's come to help.
