How LoL patches work

Two weeks, give or take.

Riot ships a patch about every two weeks, on a Wednesday in Pacific Time unless its schedule says otherwise. Dates on another day are highlighted in the table.

Patch names follow the year: 26.1 is the first patch of 2026. Riot can move a patch, and it posts an alert at the top of its schedule when a patch moves within 48 hours of its date.
