Gameplay Style
Nami is primarily played as a enchanter/mage/support, leveraging their ranged combat style to dominate in the support. Since their release in Patch 1.0.0.152, players have come up with a bunch of different strategies and builds to maximize Nami's potential.
As a magical-focused champion who uses Mana to cast their abilities, Nami requires players to carefully manage their resources while positioning effectively to deal maximum damage. The champion's design makes them particularly effective against grouped enemies with AoE abilities and burst damage.
Nami's Story
A headstrong young vastaya of the seas, Nami was the first of the Marai tribe to leave the waves and venture onto dry land, when their ancient accord with the Targonians was broken. With no other option, she took it upon herself to complete the sacred ritual that would ensure the safety of her people. Amidst the chaos of this new age, Nami faces an uncertain future with grit and determination, using her Tidecaller staff to summon the strength of the oceans themselves.
